Over the past four decades, the company has expanded through both organic growth and opportunistic acquisitions from a single store with four employees into one of the nation's largest billiard and game room furniture retailers. Today, the company consists of 13 retail stores, multiple distribution centers and many dedicated employees.
The original Billiard Factory location opened in September of 1975 on Telephone Road in Houston, Texas. Due to the rapid expansion of the Houston area two additional stores were opened in the north and southwest suburbs of Houston.
Additional expansion through the 80’s included one additional store in the Houston area along with the Company’s first two locations outside of the Houston market: one located in Scottsdale, AZ and the other in San Antonio, TX. Based on demand and a constant desire to meet customer’s needs, Billiard Factory also began operations of its first warehouse/distribution center located in Houston, Texas.
The Billiard Factory experienced continued growth throughout the 90’s with the expansion of the Houston market along with the acquisition of an established game room furnishings retailer in Jacksonville, FL.
The new millennium has presented prosperous growth opportunities for the Billiard Factory. These growth opportunities have included:
In the 2010's, Billiard Factory remained a family run company as the stewardship of the company was passed to the second generation of the Stick family (Tony and Ryan), who remained committed to offering customers a large, diverse product line from the top manufacturers in the home game room furnishing industry.
In the 2020's, Ryan assumed full ownership of Billiard Factory after Tony's retirement. With new stores in Scottsdale and Tempe, Arizona, as well as a new 70,000 square foot distribution center, Billiard Factory looks forward to the future, continually searching for ways to best serve the needs of its customers through diversity and quality products, as well as superior service.
